Left Front Signs MOU with US Government

[Our stories are combination of fact and fiction. Read these just for fun and we are not responsible if you take these seriously]

In an unprecedented show of solidarity with American people, Left Front has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with U.S. Government.

Under the agreement, the U.S. Government has agreed to continue to do whatever they are doing and they would not withdraw troops from Iraq without a prior consent from the Left Front in India.

After the sign-up ceremony at the White House, a beaming Prakash Karat, General Secretary of the Communist Party of India, said, "USA has always been our great ally. In 60s and 70s, the vietnam war run by USA provided us lot of material to continue our movement. In fact, whenever we thought we needed a boost in the level of enthusiasm in our cadres, USA had always been there as an easy target and they invariably supplied us news of some of their operation somewhere in some corner of the earth or even in outer space. The current agreement would certainly take us one step forward and help us a lot in building up our image in India, which suffered a heavy toll after the Nadigram shooting incident in Bengal. We are confident that we'll now be able to divert people's attention to USA, the nuclear deal and what USA would be doing in Iraq and in that way make people forget what we did in Nandigram".

A beaming Condoleezza Rice (the United States Secretary of State) said, "Left Front always highlighted our global activities and helped propagate the idea of America as a powerful nation. We like this agreement because we do not need to do nothing, but, as a nation, will gain much more popularity in India. The continuous campaign that the Left Front will continue in next few months and the way they are planning to create traffic jam in Kolkata will take us a long way into the heart of both average and talented Indians."

Under another minor clause of the agreement, President Bush needs to call Prime Minister, Manmohan Singh once every week to ask about his health. After every such call, Left Front would declare a 'Bharat Bandh' protesting against the meddling of USA into India's political process and forcing India to sign the nuclear deal.
